Systems Engineer
Junior engineer responsible for maintaining and supporting Red Hat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux servers, handling patching, upgrades, virtualization, performance monitoring, and 24/7 incident response, with Korean language proficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer enterprise Linux platforms (Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux) and Unix environments.
- Perform regular patching, upgrades, migrations, and virtualization tasks for physical and virtual servers.
- Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and provide change support across production, development, QA, test, and disaster‑recovery environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize server hardware and software, ensuring high availability.
- Track hardware and software assets, keeping inventory records up to date.
- Provide 24/7 on‑call support for all assigned Linux/Unix systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Linux/Unix Systems Engineer.
- Proficiency with Red Hat, CentOS, and Oracle Linux distributions.
- Experience in server patching, upgrades, migration, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong skills in system monitoring, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Fluent Korean (reading, writing, speaking) to support bilingual environments.
