About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of marine structural components for new ship builds and retrofits.
- Develop and maintain AutoCAD drawings and BIM models for structural elements.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate stress, fatigue, and stability of marine structures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural solutions with naval architecture and propulsion systems.
- Support preparation of technical reports, design calculations, and compliance documentation for regulatory approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with BIM software.
- Basic knowledge of FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) and MATLAB for structural analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
