About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology‑related commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and outsourcing contracts.
- Provide regulatory guidance on banking, payments, and financial services compliance, ensuring client activities meet applicable laws.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging fintech and regulatory developments to support client strategies.
- Assist senior consultants in risk assessments, due‑diligence reviews, and the preparation of advisory memoranda.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align contractual terms with business objectives and technology initiatives.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification with a focus on technology, commercial contracts, or financial services law.
- 0–2 years of experience drafting and negotiating technology or commercial agreements, preferably within banking or fintech environments.
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, PSD2, Basel) and their impact on contract terms.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global advisory setting.
