Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications based on functional and technical requirements to meet business needs
- Participate in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions to ensure timely delivery
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development frameworks and technologies
- Create and execute unit tests to verify software quality and reliability before release
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues to maintain system stability
- Collaborate with team members in Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives to improve team output
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and deployment activities under senior engineer guidance to streamline releases
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to improve code quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and application performance to enhance efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices to support automated deployment pipelines
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment
- Experience with microservices architecture to design modular and scalable systems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies to effectively participate in iterative development cycles
