Software Engineer
Entry‑level technician supporting defense system development through electronics assembly, testing, and troubleshooting using PCB fabrication, test equipment, and basic programming tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and solder printed circuit boards (PCBs) for defense hardware prototypes.
- Operate and calibrate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Assist in functional and environmental testing of electronic subsystems.
- Document test results, maintain inventory of components, and support inventory management.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and signal integrity.
- Hands‑on experience with soldering, desoldering, and surface‑mount technology.
- Familiarity with test and measurement instruments and data logging.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
