Site Reliability Engineer
Junior DevOps/SRE Engineer focused on building and operating cloud‑native platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Python automation, and AWS services while ensuring observability and security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and associated cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for automated deployments.
- Develop Python scripts and tooling to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to provide end‑to‑end observability.
- Apply security best practices, including secret management and compliance checks, across the platform.
- Participate in on‑call rotation, troubleshoot production incidents, and contribute to post‑mortem analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud‑native concepts.
