Software Engineer
Junior Database Engineer responsible for managing Oracle Exadata environments on Oracle Cloud, configuring RAC, ASM, and Data Guard, tuning performance, and ensuring high availability through RMAN and disaster recovery strategies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain Oracle Exadata clusters (19c, 23ai, 26ai) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure, CRS, ASM, and RAC for high‑availability and scalability.
- Set up and monitor Oracle Data Guard and GoldenGate for disaster recovery and data replication.
- Perform performance tuning, monitor system health, and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries.
- Execute database recovery operations using RMAN, Data Guard, and user‑managed backups.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux/AIX/Windows operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Exadata, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with RMAN and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
