About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and integrate real‑estate and urban data from multiple sources to support quantitative research.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and databases using Python and SQL.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to generate market forecasts and risk assessments.
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to analysts and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior data scientists, economists, and GIS specialists to enhance the Quantitative Insight Group’s analytical toolkit.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Geography, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with GIS tools or spatial data analysis and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
