Data Engineer
Entry‑level data engineer responsible for building and maintaining ETL pipelines, supporting data warehouse solutions, and collaborating with analytics teams using Python, SQL and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and transform music‑related data.
- Support and optimize the data warehouse environment, ensuring data quality and performance.
- Write clean, reusable code in Python and SQL for data extraction, loading, and reporting.
- Collaborate with data analysts, product owners, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement version control and CI/CD practices using Git and related tooling.
- Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and document processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with ETL concepts and data warehousing (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a hybrid team environment.
