Data Engineer
Junior Data Engineer supporting cloud‑based data platform development, maintaining scalable data lakes, and building data‑intensive applications with Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and data lakes on AWS and Azure.
- Implement batch and real‑time data pipelines using Apache Spark, Hadoop, and related tools.
- Develop and support data‑intensive applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply DevOps practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and automated testing of data workflows.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and Big Data ecosystems.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
