Data Engineer
Junior Data Engineer responsible for building and operating business tenancies on AWS and Snowflake, delivering data pipelines, and supporting the Post Trade data platform transformation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for business tenancies on AWS and Snowflake.
- Implement and support data models that enable secure, scalable storage and retrieval of post‑trade data.
- Collaborate with core engineering and business‑division teams to ensure seamless integration of new tenancies into the Concorde platform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data workflows to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing activities to uphold best practices.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda) and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL design patterns.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
