About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and process retail transaction and inventory data.
- Write clean, efficient Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data sets.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements using Airflow and cloud monitoring tools.
- Support data quality initiatives, including validation, profiling, and documentation of data lineage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with hands‑on experience building data pipelines.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and data storage services.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
