About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple e‑commerce sources.
- Collaborate with front‑end developers to expose clean, aggregated data via APIs for the web application.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure reliability of production data flows.
- Optimize query performance and storage costs in a cloud data warehouse environment.
- Document data models, pipeline logic, and best practices for future team members.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or early‑career engineer with strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational or columnar databases.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or similar).
- Basic understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
