About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform environmental and financial data from diverse sources to support watershed investment program planning.
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure timely, accurate data delivery.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and GIS platforms to communicate findings to program managers and local partners.
- Assist senior analysts in building data models that evaluate program impact and investment readiness.
- Document data workflows, metadata, and analytical methods to promote reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Geography, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude for working with interdisciplinary teams.
