About the role
Key Responsibilities
Perform data cleansing and validation on the Pennsylvania Immunization Electronic Registry System (PIERS) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Analyze data anomalies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and execute SQL queries and Excel scripts to extract, transform, and load data sets.
Document data quality issues, remediation steps, and maintain detailed logs for audit purposes.
Support the Business Analysis team by gathering requirements, creating simple process maps, and communicating findings to technical teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field.
Hands‑on experience with data cleansing, preferably in a healthcare or public‑sector environment.
Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work remotely while being available for occasional on‑site meetings in Harrisburg, PA.
