About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure high availability of critical services.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, diagnosing and resolving incidents with minimal downtime.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Analyze system metrics, conduct post‑mortems, and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) and basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS).
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
