About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating and improving manufacturing methods across product design, materials, parts, and fabrication processes.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to design and execute new processes, methodologies, and equipment layouts that enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with quality control standards.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend actionable solutions.
- Support the creation of standard operating procedures and documentation for new manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with process mapping, root cause analysis, and Kaizen event facilitation.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, statistical software) and basic CAD or process simulation software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and quality excellence.
