Software Engineer
Lead the analysis and integrity of aeronautical navigation data, ensuring compliance with CNS/ATM and Performance‑Based Navigation standards while translating operator needs into robust software specifications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Trace, analyze, and validate aeronautical navigation data from mission planning and aircraft avionics to support certification of Performance‑Based Navigation systems.
- Translate operator functionality requirements into detailed software system specifications and interface documents.
- Review and update conceptual requirements, system specifications, hardware and software interface requirements, and software designs to ensure alignment with functional and regulatory standards.
- Apply systems engineering principles to evaluate and recommend design improvements, ensuring compliance with CNS/ATM and mission planning requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data integrity checks into software development life cycles.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB for data analysis and scripting.
- Strong background in systems engineering and experience with CNS/ATM and Performance‑Based Navigation standards.
- Experience translating operator requirements into software specifications and interface documents.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
