Mid‑level data scientist with Secret clearance, skilled in building predictive models, cleaning structured and unstructured data, and delivering actionable insights using Python, SQL, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from diverse internal and external sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.
- Design, develop, and validate predictive and statistical models using machine‑learning algorithms.
- Create clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Deploy models and data pipelines on cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with Secret‑level requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 3+ years of hands‑on data‑science experience.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience building and evaluating machine‑learning models, including regression, classification, and time‑series forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
- Ability to work independently, hold a Secret security clearance, and follow strict data‑security protocols.
