Solutions Architect
Lead the design and delivery of JD Edwards manufacturing solutions, driving digital transformation across global production sites with expertise in ERP integration, cloud architecture, and enterprise design principles.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Architecture to define and evolve the enterprise solution architecture for JD Edwards manufacturing environments.
- Design, implement, and optimize integrated JD Edwards modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and digital transformation goals.
- Lead integration projects between JD Edwards and external systems (SCM, MES, PLM) using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
- Architect cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure) for JD Edwards, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams, mentor developers, and drive best practices in configuration, customization, and performance tuning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience architecting JD Edwards (JDE) solutions in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database design for Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with integration patterns, middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and API management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
