About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput Java services for the P2P marketplace, ensuring low latency and high availability.
- Implement RESTful APIs and event‑driven communication using Kafka, integrating with front‑end and third‑party services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system architecture, data models, and deployment pipelines.
- Optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices for security and scalability.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response to resolve production issues promptly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience, strong grasp of Spring Boot and microservices patterns.
- Proven experience with Kafka, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and data modeling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for building secure, scalable financial services.
