QA Engineer
Quality Assurance Engineer focused on testing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, leveraging test automation tools, Python scripting, and Agile methodologies to ensure reliable telephony experiences.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for IVR applications using Selenium, Python, and telephony testing tools.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests on IVR flows, validating call routing, prompts, and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts in Agile sprints to define test criteria and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track defects in defect‑tracking systems, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
- Analyze call logs, audio recordings, and system logs to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements.
- Continuously improve test frameworks, reporting dashboards, and CI/CD pipelines for faster feedback.
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA experience with a focus on IVR or telephony applications.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and test automation tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of IVR platforms, SIP protocols, and call flow design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using JIRA or similar tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
