Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain advanced IVR solutions using VoiceXML and modern programming languages, integrating Conversational AI and NLP capabilities on cloud platforms such as AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy IVR applications on platforms like Nuance, Google Dialogflow, Genesys, Avaya, and Cisco.
- Write and maintain VoiceXML scripts and custom logic using Java, Python, Node.js, or C++.
- Integrate Conversational AI components, including intent detection and large‑language‑model (LLM) workflows.
- Implement NLU/NLP pipelines to enhance speech recognition and response accuracy.
- Deploy and manage IVR services on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IVR systems and platforms.
- Proficiency in VoiceXML and at least two programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, C++).
- Strong background in Conversational AI, NLU/NLP, and LLM integration.
- Experience with cloud AI/ML services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases for data persistence.
