IT/OT Engineer (EMEA Delivery)

Task
- Drive the integration of Fluence BESS control system into Transmission System Operator (TSO) SCADA systems: Network configuration, communication interfaces, cybersecurity requirements, support in the equipment integration, monitoring signals configuration to meet TSO / Customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Core documentation of existing monitoring/equipment infrastructure including hardware, signal lists, diagrams, communication links and system backup and recovery strategies.
- Work with field engineers to find solutions to problems as they arise during commissioning/testing of a system, in all Network/SCADA/equipment related subjects.
- Work in the FAT testing for our Network/SCADA racks. Provide inputs on the system FAT process: development and execution of testing procedures for the equipment validation.
- Execute tests (FAT / SAT) to reduce commissioning time, and perform testing, including involvement in hands on lab testing during evaluations of prototype systems.
- Drive interface to Clients and sub-contractors to support SCADA/Network compliance and drive concept during Project Execution phase.
- Keep current with all Company products, developments, and projects as they apply to the SCADA network at both site and enterprise levels.
- Maintain strict management of change control procedures and documentation.
- Remain current on industry best practices and updated technology to ensure the company is provided world-class SCADA services.
- Support company strategy and provide relevant reporting and updates to Company leadership as needed.
- Develop and recommend performance management and feedback to current SCADA technical support KPI’s.
- Executing tasks related to Fluence’ safety KPIs
- Travel throughout EMEA – If required.
Skills Required
- Bachelor / master in computer engineering, automation, information technology, computer science (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant OT / SCADA / Networking experience with a power utility or related industry and the design, operation and maintenance of a power plant.
