About the role
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain secure IT/OT network architectures for smart factory and defence applications.
Integrate industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, EtherNet/IP) with enterprise IT systems.
Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and edge devices to meet performance and security requirements.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network segmentation, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
Document network designs, change management, and provide technical support to production teams.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT/OT connectivity and industrial networking.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems.
Hands‑on experience with industrial protocols and network security best practices.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
