Systems Engineer
Hands‑on IT, Telecoms & Business Systems Engineer responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting networking, CCTV, security, managed print and EPOS solutions across diverse business environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
- Implement and maintain CCTV and security camera systems, ensuring optimal coverage and integration with existing IT services.
- Configure and support EPOS and managed print solutions, providing end‑user training and documentation.
- Deliver on‑site and remote support for telecommunications, networking and business applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess client requirements and recommend technology upgrades.
- Maintain accurate asset records, perform regular system health checks and produce performance reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking and telecommunications.
- Hands‑on knowledge of CCTV, security, EPOS and managed print technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CCTV certification) are a plus.
