About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end incident, problem, and change management for SAP Basis landscape, ensuring minimal downtime and SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automating routine tasks with Bash/PowerShell scripts and integrating with SAP Solution Manager.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, coordinating with SAP support and external vendors.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and technical service management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform environments.
- Proficiency in ITIL processes, especially incident, problem, and change management.
- Hands‑on scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell for automation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
