About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP Basis components across on‑premise and cloud deployments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Administer SAP HANA databases, including capacity planning, backup/restore, and performance tuning using SQL and HANA Studio.
- Configure and troubleshoot SAP NetWeaver landscapes, integrating with middleware, web services, and security frameworks.
- Collaborate with application teams to support ABAP and Java development, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation scripts (Shell, Python) to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP Basis, HANA, and NetWeaver in a production environment.
- Strong Linux administration skills and familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform services.
- Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and database administration.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to incident management.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team.
