Senior specialist responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Linux-based high‑availability environments using Pacemaker, ensuring optimal uptime and performance for critical business services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Linux clusters with Pacemaker to deliver 99.99% availability for mission‑critical applications.
- Configure and maintain HA resources, fencing, and quorum settings across multi‑node environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) for deployment, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with application teams to integrate HA solutions with existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis, capacity planning, and performance tuning for clustered services.
- Document architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides for internal teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering Linux servers in production environments.
- Deep expertise in Pacemaker, Corosync, and related high‑availability technologies.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and log management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
