Software Engineer
Provide on‑site and remote technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and install networking equipment and PCs for customers, ensuring rapid resolution and high service quality.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑line on‑site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues, logging all activities in the ticketing system.
- Install, configure, and test routers, switches, wireless access points, servers, desktops, and laptops according to customer specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex cases only when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and share best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Windows operating systems and basic Active Directory administration.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and common networking hardware.
- Hands‑on experience installing and configuring PCs, laptops, servers, routers, and wireless devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure to meet service level targets.
- Excellent communication skills for phone support and on‑site customer interactions.
