Security Engineer
Provide IT support, design AI-driven legal workflows, and safeguard the firm’s digital assets by implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents using Python, machine learning, and modern cybersecurity tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day technical support for Windows and macOS workstations, printers, and network connectivity across hybrid office and remote environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain AI‑powered automation workflows for document processing, contract analysis, and client onboarding using Python and prompt‑engineering techniques.
- Implement and manage security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms to monitor and log network activity.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, apply patches, and remediate findings to ensure compliance with legal‑industry standards.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and document lessons learned to improve the firm’s security posture.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and experience building machine‑learning or AI workflow pipelines.
- Solid understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Hands‑on experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical staff.
