Senior IT Technical Support Engineer responsible for on‑site and remote troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues, installing and configuring desktops and laptops, and managing peripheral devices in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support to end‑users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop‑related problems, including operating system errors, application failures, and peripheral device malfunctions.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other end‑user devices, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Set up and manage peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and other accessories.
- Document support activities, create knowledge base articles, and provide user training as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems, common office applications, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware installation, peripheral configuration, and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, customer‑focused attitude, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
