Software Engineer
Support and maintain the Container Tracking and Yard Management System, ensuring optimal performance of OCR cameras, mobile scanners, and network infrastructure while coordinating with operators and clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operation of the Container Tracking and Yard Management System at ICD Sanand.
- Monitor and maintain project equipment, including OCR cameras, mobile scanning devices, network equipment, and system infrastructure.
- Conduct regular equipment health checks and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists and records.
- Coordinate with operators, client representatives, and technical support teams to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge for hardware and software.
- Proficiency in MS Office and documentation/reporting.
- Experience with OCR technology, mobile scanning devices, and network equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
