Systems Engineer
Lead the modernization of a scalable, secure IT infrastructure, driving automation, cloud migration, and system reliability across Linux, Windows, and virtualized environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a hybrid on‑premises and AWS environment, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Bash, and configuration management tools.
- Manage and optimize VMware virtual infrastructure, including capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Implement security best practices: patch management, firewall rules, IAM policies, and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere and AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security controls, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
