IT Systems Engineer

About the Role

HighRadius is looking for a skilled IT Systems Engineer to join their team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in IT operations, focusing on system administration and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers (Linux and Windows), networking devices, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Configure and troubleshoot network services like firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, WSUS, Intune, and Office 365.
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and performance through regular monitoring, patching, and updates.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to resolve technical issues and support business operations.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
• Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Proficient in network administration, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, WSUS, Intune, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with scripting and automation is a plus.
