IT Systems Business Analyst who bridges business needs and technology, driving system enhancements, data analysis, and process improvements using SQL, ERP platforms, and Agile practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements for IT system enhancements.
- Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and design optimized workflows using process‑modeling techniques.
- Develop and execute SQL queries and reports to support data‑driven decision making and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate with ERP/IT vendors and internal developers to ensure solutions align with business objectives and are delivered on schedule.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain product backlogs, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis within an IT or ERP environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and reporting.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
