Systems Engineer
IT Systems Administrator responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s technology stack, including servers, SharePoint, cloud services, and networking, while providing user support and training across engineering, design, and project teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer SharePoint sites, perform updates, and manage permissions for cross‑functional teams.
- Configure and monitor Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
- Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripts and monitor system health with built‑in tools.
- Provide end‑user support, training, and documentation for new applications and system changes.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to integrate new tools and streamline workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Proficiency with SharePoint administration and Azure services.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and familiarity with other automation tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
