Systems Engineer
Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, and virtual infrastructure while providing automation and support for end‑users.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Maintain Active Directory, group policies, and user account lifecycle management.
- Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines using VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and reporting.
- Provide second‑level support for internal users, resolve incidents, and document solutions.
- Implement backup, patching, and security hardening procedures across the infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration for Windows and Linux platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
