IT System Specialist responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise Windows and Linux environments, managing virtual infrastructure, and ensuring secure, reliable network operations using VMware, Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage VMware virtual infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, group policies, and user access controls.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation of routine tasks.
- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with network teams to support LAN/WAN connectivity and security policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and network protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
