Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain secure network interfaces on z/OS mainframe environments.
- Implement and manage access control mechanisms such as RACF, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities affecting mainframe network services.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to integrate SSL/TLS encryption and secure TCP/IP protocols.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and automation scripts for network security operations.
Requirements
- Strong experience with IBM z/OS and mainframe networking concepts.
- Hands‑on knowledge of RACF, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, and related security technologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues in a mainframe environment.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, REXX) for security tasks.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining high security standards.
