Systems Engineer
Senior IT System Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining Windows infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across servers, virtual environments, and backup solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows Server environments, including domain controllers, file services, and application servers.
- Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and related security settings.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell scripting.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (Hyper‑V, VMware) and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Plan, execute, and monitor backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support, troubleshoot complex issues, and document solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and familiarity with automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with virtualization (Hyper‑V, VMware) and backup solutions.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
