Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments using VMware and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Deploy and maintain virtualized infrastructure with VMware, including resource allocation and capacity planning.
- Configure and secure cloud services on AWS, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM policies.
- Implement and monitor security controls, patch management, and backup solutions across all platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute IT projects, providing technical guidance and support.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Proficiency with VMware virtualization and AWS cloud services.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
