Systems Engineer
IT Support Specialist responsible for maintaining Windows infrastructure, managing Active Directory, troubleshooting network issues, and supporting virtual environments using VMware and PowerShell scripts.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑1 and tier‑2 support for Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and user account management.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange, ensuring secure and compliant access controls.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems, utilizing tools such as Wireshark, ping, and traceroute.
- Maintain and troubleshoot VMware virtual machines, including provisioning, backup, and resource allocation.
- Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripts, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Document incidents, solutions, and best practices in the ITSM system, contributing to a knowledge base.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and Active Directory.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware ESXi/vSphere and basic networking concepts.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command‑line troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
