Systems Engineer
Hands‑on IT Support Officer providing on‑site assistance in Melbourne, managing device provisioning, user onboarding/offboarding, and daily technical issues to keep field staff productive.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site first‑line support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provision, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices for new hires and departing staff.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, ensuring secure access and compliance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity problems, VPN access, and local network infrastructure across multiple depots.
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures in the ticketing system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on IT support experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory administration.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot networking issues, including LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connections.
- Experience with hardware deployment, imaging, and peripheral setup.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
