Part‑time IT Support Network Engineer responsible for configuring servers, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/Wi‑Fi environments, providing hardware support, and delivering reliable technical solutions in fast‑paced settings.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain servers, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure network operations.
- Provide LAN and Wi‑Fi support, including VLAN tagging, network diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
- Set up and troubleshoot hardware peripherals, desktops, and laptops, including network setting changes.
- Diagnose and resolve end‑user and network issues, delivering timely technical solutions.
- Assist in the deployment of new network equipment and software updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of hands‑on experience in network and IT support.
- Proficiency with firewall configuration, VPN setup, and LAN/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑focused attitude.
