Entry‑level IT Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, networking, and toll management systems for toll plaza projects, leveraging hardware knowledge, Windows/Linux servers, and networking protocols.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, and networking equipment at toll plaza and ATMS sites.
- Provide first‑line support for Windows and Linux operating systems, including patching, user account management, and service monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, manage TCP/IP settings, VPN tunnels, and VLAN configurations.
- Support toll management applications, ensuring uptime and proper integration with backend systems.
- Document incidents, create knowledge‑base articles, and assist in periodic audits of IT assets.
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Engineering, Hardware & Networking, B.Sc. IT, or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, hardware support, or networking; fresh graduates with solid fundamentals are welcome.
- Hands‑on knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently on site, and good communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project locations in Karnataka and Bihar as needed.
