IT Support Engineer - State Affairs
Systems Engineer
Provide tier‑1/2 technical support for end‑users, manage Windows and Linux environments, maintain Active Directory and VPN access, and automate routine tasks with PowerShell.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve user incidents and service requests via ticketing system, ensuring timely SLA compliance.
- Administer Windows and Linux workstations, including software deployment, patch management, and configuration.
- Maintain Active Directory accounts, group policies, and VPN access for remote staff.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and peripheral issues.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive support tasks and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in IT support or help‑desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows (10/11, Server) and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) operating systems.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, group policy management, and VPN technologies.
- Experience using ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
- Solid scripting skills in PowerShell (or Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
