Systems Engineer
IT Support Engineer with deep curiosity and hands‑on experience in troubleshooting complex industrial and public‑space environments, leveraging Windows, Linux, virtualization, and scripting to integrate legacy and modern systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across industrial and public‑space deployments.
- Maintain and upgrade Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Implement and manage virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V) to support legacy equipment integration.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation of routine tasks and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy secure network architectures for CCTV, factory equipment, and business infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on IT support in complex, mission‑critical environments.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash for automation and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, including patch management, firewall configuration, and endpoint protection.
