Systems Engineer
L2 IT Support Engineer responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments, ensuring high availability and customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve medium to high complexity incidents reported via ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Provide remote and on‑site support for Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments, including configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, group policies, and security permissions for end users and service accounts.
- Collaborate with L1 support and cross‑functional teams to document solutions, update knowledge base articles, and improve support processes.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and 24/7 support coverage, maintaining service level agreements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills.
