Systems Engineer
Provide end‑to‑end technical support for enterprise users, troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and network issues while maintaining service quality with ITIL processes and VMware virtualization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for end users across Windows and Linux platforms.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
- Administer and support VMware virtual environments, including VM provisioning and performance tuning.
- Utilize PowerShell and scripting to automate routine tasks and improve support efficiency.
- Document incidents, solutions, and best practices in the ticketing system following ITIL guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement system upgrades and security patches.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization and PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent process‑oriented mindset is a plus.
